Well after a bit of a delay, we now have a photo of our first place winner from last fall's UCU Investment Challenge 3. George Foty won that round hands down. He went in strong and stayed on top of the heap throughout the course of the third round of our popular investment game.

George Foty holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hon.) from the University of Guelph with a major in Real Estate and Housing. He also has a diploma in Urban Land Economics at the Sauder School of Business (UBC). George recently relocated to Calgary where he works as a real estate property assessor. He has prepared and defended valuations for over $6.7 billion in commercial and residential real estate.

He is interested in such varied topics as real options in real estate, real estate market inefficiencies, foreign exchange, equities, as well as skiing, piano, philosophy and physics.

"Thank you UCU," says Gerge Foty, "Looking forward to the next competition."

Glad you enjoyed it, and you'll be the first to know when we start our next round!
