Candidates to the Board - Nestor Sanajko (Нестор Санайко)

Nine members of our credit union are running for positions on our board. Each day this week we will feature a few of them on our blog. The elections are being held at our AGM on April 23.  For a view of all of the candidates, please visit the Candidates album on our Facebook page.

Nestor Sanajko is running for the one (1) position set aside for a representative of the former So-Use Credit Union.

Nestor Sanajko brings with him a background in marketing, sales, governance, and sustainability. Well known throughout the Greater Toronto Area’s Ukrainian Community, Nestor continuously strives to bring members together through various cultural events.

Nestor is currently the Global Client Services Manager at a leading Toronto Market Research firm, which evaluates the performances of consumer packaged goods’ companies, exploring new trade practices in various global markets. Prior to his current role, he held the position of account manager at Kraft Foods, as well as having gained a diverse skill set within various marketing firms, managing and executing several high profile- nationwide experiential marketing campaigns

Nestor is a graduate of Concordia University in Montreal, with a BSC in Environmental. Additionally he holds certificates in Business Administration and Marketing from Concordia’s prestigious John Molson School of Business. His extracurricular roles include; being a former president of the Concordia Ukrainian Students’ Union (CUSU), a founding member of the resurrected Concordia International Ethnic Associations Council (IEAC),former External Director for the Ukrainian Canadian Student Union (SUSK); Current  Program Director of the Ukrainian Youth Association of Canada (CYM)-Mississauga branch,  an active member of the cultural committee of the Ukrainian National Federation (UNO) -Toronto Chapter, and a contributing member to numerous other organizations.  He continues to collaborate amongst various stakeholders throughout the community.
