UCU Helps Ukraine: Khrystiy Dmytro

Христій Дмитро Миколайович, 1963 року народження., уродженець м.Ромни, Сумської обл. Доброволець. 05 вересня 2014р. записався у добровольчий батальйон (Волинь-1).З 27 вересня 2014р. був на передовій за Дебальцевим, с.Ольховатка.Потім був Світлодарськ, Миронівка. Під час зміни дислокації 28 липня 2015р. солдат отримав компресійний перелом хребта(L- 1), уламок якого перетиснув спинний мозок.В харківському госпіталі зробили операцію по вживленню імпланта, вартісь якого була оплачена харківськими волонтерами. Дальше на Дмитра чекає складна операція по видаленню уламка хребта і тривала коштовна реабілітація.



Dmytro Khrystiy, born in 1963 in Romny, Sumy region. He enlisted in the volunteer battalion Volyn-1 on September 5, 2014. Starting September 27, 2014, he was at the front lines near Debaltseve, in the village of Olhovatka. After that, in Svitlodarsk and Myronivka. When changing his location, on July 28, 2015, he received a compression fracture of the spine (L-1), while the fragment of the spine has damaged the spinal cord. In the Kharkiv hospital, Dmytro underwent a surgery for implantation of the implant, which was paid for by Kharkiv volunteers. Dmytro needs a difficult operation to remove the spine fragment and a long expensive rehabilitation.
