Carabram's Ukraine Pavilion: Helping Rebuild St. Elias Church!

Since the tragic April fire that destroyed St. Elias Parish in Brampton, the community - Ukrainian and beyond - has banded together to raise funds and support the parishioners in their mission to rebuild and restore their spiritual home. (Learn more about how you can help here.)

The theme of the Ukraine Pavilion at this year's Carabram Festival will be a celebration of St. Elias - the church and parish that has served as the heart of Brampton's Ukrainian community since 1974.

This year they will celebrate the history and future of their parish with all festival goers, and share the rich cultural traditions the Ukrainian culture weaves into the tapestry of the Canadian experience.

Throughout the weekend you will be able to enjoy several performances by the Vesnianka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble (visit them on facebook here), as well as enjoy some traditional Ukrainian food and drink, browse crafts and interesting kiosks and much more!

All proceeds will be dedicated to the St. Elias Rebuilding Fund, to help with costs not covered by insurance.

Vesnianka's shows will be:
Friday at 6:30, 8:30 and 10:30
Saturday at 1:30, 3:30, 5:30, 7:30 and 9:30
Sunday at 1:30, 3:30, and 5:30
