The Winds of Change ...

... keep blowing around the UCU Investment Challenge, as portfolio valuations keep adjusting, and different portfolios maneuver in and out of contention for claiming one of the prizes! This past week, we see two new top 3 portfolios, as strong weekly performances from Lara F. and Adam F. have brought them into the winners' circle at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions respectively. Heading into the last week of our competition, Lubomyr T. is holding down the No. 2 position. Now, the race is very tight, as less than $1,000 in value separates No. 2 from No.1, and less than $2,000 separates No. 3 from No.1, while Lubomyra T., in the No. 4 position, is only $1,500 behind No. 3. We are in the last week of our contest, with the closing prices on December 16th being the finishing marks for all portfolio positions. Recall, October 14th closing prices were the starting values for all positions. Markets remain quite jittery, and so it will be a very interesting finish. If you feel that we need to publish portfolio positions mid-week this week, let us know through comments to this blog - otherwise our next positing will most likely be next week once we tally up all the portfolio position values.
