The Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce executive invite you to the Annual Christmas Social. The event will take palce at the Trident Hall, 145 Evans on Wednesday Dec 7. Raiding & Trading on the Black Sea Steppe
Professor Renat Holod of the University of Pennsylvania will give a talk on the burial of a "nomadic prince" in the Black Seaa Steppe. She will explore the luxurious grave goods found at the site and discuss how these objects are interpreted as expressions of power on the borders between the Mediterranean and the Eurasian worlds in the 13th century. The church choir of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church (4 Bellwoods Avenue at Queen St. West) invites everyone to its family-friendly 6th annual Koliada concert. The McMaster Ukrainian Students' Association (MUSA) holds an annual volleyball tournament to encourage teamwork, networking and friendly competition among Ukrainian students' clubs.
