Update on Meest Newspaper article series

Over the past month our lenders and financial advisers have tackle a wide range of topics in the weekly Meest newspaper series.

Roman Mlynko, Wealth Management Consultant, wrote about the mathematics of investing, a primer oin figuring things out like how much interest your are actually earning over a period of time. A second article discusses investor psychology and how to identify some pretty typical traits that often lead to making non-optimal investments.

Marika Dmytriak, Special Accounts Officer, compared reedemable and non-redeemable GICs.

Tetyana Basmat, CFP, Financial Services Associate, wrote about building financial plans, from goal setting through to periodic reviews.

Svitlana Mazepa, who has just been announced as the new Accting Branch Manager of the Etobicoke branch, wrote about how to pay your mortgage off as quickly as possible and the benefits of doing so.

Finally, Yuriy Nesvit wrapped up his two-parter on commercial lending and how to get a commercial loan from UCU. The first part can be found here.

As of this week, we will be going into a short re-run period over the summer as people go on holidays. So if you've missed some of the earlier articles, you'll get a second chance to read them.
