When the Cat's at Play...

Fat Cat dances with some of the performers
Kotiache Vesilya (A Cat's Wedding) was a blast this year! A big round of applause to the parents from Svitlychka (Ukrainian Cooperative Nursery School) for putting the event on. Lots of children came to see the dancing, listen to the music, watch magic tricks and run around having a great time! Ukrainian Credit Union was not only the key sponsor of this event, but some of our staff pitched in to help make this event a success.

  1. Now that Kotiache Vesillia 2011 has come to its successful conclusion of frenzied Kotyk fun, the parents of Svitlychka Ukrainian Cooperative Nursery School wish to extend a hearty "DIAKUYEMO!" to UCU for its sponsorship, its on-site presence at our annual children's zabava on Saturday, and its energetic co-promotional efforts.

Special thanks go to the hard-working volunteers, Vera, Olya and Aleksandra, who pitched in enthusiastically on Saturday; to Fat Cat, who definitely added to the fun, most memorably by dancing with the children; and to Yuriy for coordinating the whole crew, not to mention all the balloons, bags, and goodies you gave out to children arriving at our event.

This event is first of all a fun day for the children, second a fundraiser for the nursery school, and third an opportunity for the public to get to know Svitlychka. We are grateful for UCU’s comarketing of this event, which certainly helped us to reach new families in the GTA who attended and enjoyed our event with their little ones.

    Z kotyachym pryvitom: MYAW-MYAW!
